Goldman, Sachs & Co., Community TeamWorks Volunteers Come to Snug Harbor to Plant and Beautify the Gardens
The Goldman Sachs Community TeamWorks project was arranged by Livingston area resident, Andrea Geroldi, an employee of Goldman, Sachs & Co. Ms. Geroldi, having recently visited an exhibit in the Main Hall, invited Snug Harbor to submit a project proposal to the Charitable Services Group at Goldman Sachs.

“Goldman Sachs graciously granted our request for site plantings, agreed to make a financial contribution towards the purchase of plants, and the date, May 17 was set,” explained Frances X. Paulo Huber, President and CEO of Snug Harbor Cultural Center. “We’re particularly grateful to our neighbor, Andrea Geroldi.”
Snug Harbor community volunteers also participated in the project. “Volunteers are a valued extension of our staff and can always be relied upon to step in whenever they are needed. There is so much to be done and it is gratifying that our friends take such a genuine interest in what we do,” Ms. Huber added. “It’s not just labor for volunteers; it’s commitment and dedication to participate in something that has value to their community.” |
