Don't throw autumn's bounties away. Leave your leaves with us! We'll compost your leaves and create a nutrient rich soil amendment. Are you an urban composter desperately in need of browns to balance out your greens? Stop by and take some leaves, there should be plenty!
Residential leaves only please.
Please use clear plastic or brown paper bags.
No branches, twigs or trash please.
Snug Harbor Cultural Center & Botanical Garden is pleased to announce an exhibition by emerging artists in the Snug Harbor Artist Residency Program (SHARP) and a unique collaboration with Second Saturday Staten Island and DEEP TANKS. Works created by Kevin Dejewski and Heewon Seo will be presented to at a public reception on Saturday, December 14, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Newhouse Center for Contemporary Art on the Snug Harbor campus at 1000 Richmond Terrace in Staten Island. Admission to the reception is free and refreshments will be served.
The art reception concludes with a unique experiential performance by Kevin Dejewski in partnership with Second Saturday Staten Island and DEEP TANKS at 9:00 p.m. at 150 Bay Street, Staten Island, New York 10301 for a modest fee of $5.00.
