The Richmond County Orchestra is a professional symphonic orchestra made up of 30-80 members, located on Staten Island in New York City. It has performed at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum to rave reviews and has taken part in the Mayor’s Immigrant Heritage week. The orchestra presents 5-10 public concerts each season at affordable ticket cost and offers free concerts and educational outreach programs to students and children.
It is conducted by Maestro Alan Aurelia, a distinguished conductor of international fame, who has attracted many world-class musicians to RCO’s concerts as soloists and orchestra musicians.
