  KING AND I</strong> to be performed in the Music Hall at Snug Harbor Cult
 ural Center and Botanical Gardens\, November 2<sup>nd</sup> through the 18
 <sup>th</sup>\, 2012.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Children and adults who sing\, dan
 ce and act are welcome to audition. Performers of Asian descent will be gi
 ven priority but other ethnicities are encouraged to audition as well. Tho
 se interested in auditioning should bring sheet music in the correct key a
 nd be prepared to dance. Sides will be provided when needed. Auditions wil
 l take place on September 8<sup>th</sup> 2012 at Veteran’s Memorial Hall\,
  Snug Harbor Cultural Center and Botanical Gardens\, 1000 Richmond Terrace

 d by Broadway Veteran and long-time cast member of <em>Sesame Street</em> 
 Alan Muraoka and choreographed by Broadway Veteran and Joseph Jefferson Aw
 ard winner Lainie Sakakura. Both Mr. Muraoka and Ms. Sakakura were in the 
 latest revival of the show on Broadway. The cast of 45 actors will feature
  six Broadway veterans alongside local adults and children. This dramatic\
 , richly textured and ultimately uplifting tale of East versus West featur
 es a soaring score by Rodgers and Hammerstein. <strong>THE KING AND I</str
 ong> is the final show of Harbor Light’s third season as Staten Island’s o
 nly professional Equity theater company – bringing Broadway to Staten Isla
